INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - The NCAA released the field of 36 for the 2019 Men's Lacrosse National Championship on Sunday evening. After claiming the NECC/NAC Championship Alliance title over the weekend, New England College is set to represent the NECC on the national stage. With the exception of the championship game, all games will be played on the campus of one of the competing teams. First round competition will be held on Tuesday, May 7 with the winners advancing to play in the second round on Wednesday, May 8. The sixteen remaining teams will play in the third round on Saturday, May 11. The quarterfinals will take place on Wednesday, May 15 and the semifinals will be played Sunday, May 19 while the championship is slated for May 26th in Philadelphia.
CANTON, N.Y. - The New England College men's lacrosse team collects their fourth-straight NAC/NECC Alliance Championship, following a 17-8 win over SUNY Canton Saturday afternoon.
SUNY Canton prevailed in the first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Lacrosse semifinal game today, 15-11 over Dean College. The second semifinal finished shortly thereafter, with New England College beating SUNY Delhi, 12-3. The Roos and the Pilgrims will face off next Saturday, May 4 for the 2019 NAC Championship.
WATERVILLE, Maine - The NECC/NAC Championship Alliance field has been set announced on Tuesday evening following the conclusion of the NAC regular season. Over the weekend the NECC announced New England College and Dean College as the leagues top two finishers respectively earning a spot in the postseason alliance.
