MARSHFIELD, Mass - The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) is excited to announce the two men's lacrosse teams that will compete in the inaugural championship alliance with the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). The top two regular season finishers from each conference will face off (#1 NAC vs. #2 NECC and #1 NECC vs. #2 NAC) in semifinal games on Saturday, April 27th. The winners from those two games will meet for the alliance championship on Saturday, May 4th. The champion will recieve the automatic qualification spot for the NCAA tournament.
The NECC looks forward to sending New England College and Dean College as the leagues top two finishers respectively. The Pilgrims finished NECC play undefeated at 3-0 while owning a 6-4 overall record. The Bulldogs finished second in league play with a 3-1 record while going 5-5 overall. New England College will face the NAC's #2 seed while Dean will face their #1 finisher next Saturday, April 27th.
