NECC Madden PS4 Championship Will Take Place on Sunday, June 7

MANSFIELD, MASS.- The first-ever New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Madden PS4 Championship will take place this-coming Sunday night as a pair of Eastern Nazarene students will square off for the title. Logan Hunsberger will take on Ozzy Traill in the all-ENC championship series. The best two of three series is scheduled to begin at 7pm Sunday night and will be streamed live on twitch at twitch.tv/necc_esports

The tournament, which began in April, is down to just two with Logan and Ozzy having impressed throughout.

Hunsberger, an assistant coach for the volleyball program at ENC, advanced to Sunday’s championship final with a 2-1 semifinal win over Elms’ Mickey Howe. After dropping the first game, Hunsberger won games 2 and 3 to punch his ticket to Sunday’s championship. Traill, a junior on the men’s basketball team, rolled to the finals with an impressive 2-0 semifinal win over Mitchell’s Stephan Marcus Johnson.

The winner of this Sunday’s championship matchup will not only be crowned our first-ever NECC PS4 champion, but will also receive a championship trophy and championship shirt recognizing their accomplishment.
