Cross Country's Caitlin, Charlotte and Cathryn Carry Conference Kudos
RUNNER OF THE WEEK - Bay Path freshman Caitlin Ferland (Vergennes, Vt.) after two Rookie honors is named Runner of the Week. She helped the Wildcats to a 3rd place finish with 66 points at the St. Joseph Invitational. Ferland crossed the finish in 22:30 as the 2nd harrier only 55 seconds slower than the top finisher.
RUNNER OF THE WEEK - Lesley sophomore Charlotte Goff
(Osterville, Mass.), for the fourth consecutive week, grabs NECC
runner honors. Goff finished 7th out of 276 harriers at the Pop
Crowell Invitational. Her 5K time of 19:33 was the fastest
NECC women's finish. The team placed 12th out of 25 teams with a
team score of 286 points.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Newbury freshman Cathryn Comptois (Hubbardstown, Mass.) notches her third rookie honors for the NECC. She was the first female across the line for Newbury with a time of 20:55, her career best-time. Comptois was 45th in a field of 276 runners at the Pop Crowell Invitational. The Nighthawks placed 20th with 527 points.
