Bigos and Ferland Notch First NECC Women's Cross Country Honors

RUNNER OF THE WEEK - Elms College senior Jill Bigos (Florence, Mass.) finished first amongst Blazer teammates at the Trinity Invitational.  Her 4K time of 21:10 placed 123rd  in the 175-runner field of Division I, II and III harriers.

ROOKIE RUNNER OF THE WEEK - Bay Path College freshman Caitlin Ferland (Vergennes, VT) clocked a 23:34.19 time over 5K to earn a top-ten finish at seventh place in the 45-runner field at Sunday's Castleton State Invitational, tops among all NECC newcomers.
