Hill and Fuller Selected Volleyball Player and Rookie of the Week

PLAYER OF THE WEEK — Daniel Webster College sophomore outside hitter Samantha Hill (Hudson, N.H.) led the Eagles to a 3-1 week staying at the top of the standings. Hill hit an amazing .455 attack percentage, including a sizzling .700 hitting percentage in a 3-0 sweep of Becker. The Eagles also beat NECC opponent Lesley 3-0, Lyndon State 3-0 and lost to River in three sets.  Hill had 29 kills (2.42 per set), 14 service aces (1.17 per set) and 12 digs (1.00 per set).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK — Elms College freshman setter Ashley Fuller (Amherst, Mass.) averaged 7.71 assists per set in a 1-1 week for the Blazers. They defeated Bay Path 3-1 while falling to Mitchell 3-0. She tallied 54 assists for the week. Fuller had five kills (0.71 per set), three service aces (0.43 per set), 16 digs (2.29 per set) and two blocks (0.29 per set).
