(Nashua, N.H.) – The best season in Daniel Webster women's volleyball isn't over yet.

The Eagles learned late today that they have earned a first-ever invitation to the eight-team ECAC Division III New England championship tournament and will travel to top seed Endicott College for a 6:00 p.m. meeting on Wednesday night.

Third-year Head Coach Braden Zamore's Eagles own an 18-7 overall mark which included a 7-0 regular season record in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) play. The Eagles won their third straight NECC Regular Season title but fell in the NECC Championship to second-seeded Lesley University this past Saturday.

"We're extremely excited at the opportunity," noted Zamore. "As we continue to build our program not only into a conference contender but a regional contender, the opportunity to play in the program's first ECAC tournament is a proud accomplishment."

The Eagles will face a strong Gulls squad that owns a 22-15 overall record which included a 9-1 mark in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. The second-seeded Gulls advanced to the CCC tournament championship, falling to top-seed Roger Williams in the final.

The rest of the tournament quarterfinals includes second seed Keene State (24-12) hosting No. 7 Worcester State (15-17), third-seeded Plymouth State (18-13) hosting sixth-seeded University of New England (20-11) and fourth-seeded Colby-Sawyer (19-14) hosting fifth-seeded Mount Ida (21-8).

Quarterfinal winners advance to the final four at the site of the highest remaining seed. The final four will be a one-day event on Saturday, November 13th with games at 3:30, 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The Eagles are led offensively by sophomores Chelsey Crawford (Westfield, Mass.) and Samantha Hill (Hudson, N.H.) along with junior setter Caitlyn DePierro (Billerica, Mass.).
