Volleyball Weekly Honors Awarded to Eagles' Rieger and Crawford

PLAYER OF THE WEEK -Daniel Webster College senior middle blocker Kristina Rieger (Concord, N.H.) swung her way to a 3-1 week for the Eagles tallying a .244 hitting percentage. Rieger notched 31 kills (2.21 per set), eight service aces (.57 per set), 30 digs (2.14 per set) and four blocks (.29 per set). She helped the Mariners to shut-down two conference opponents Mitchell and Southern Vermont each 3-0.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK -For four straight weeks, Daniel Webster College freshman outside hitter Chelsey Crawford (Westfield, Mass.) received conference weekly honors with a .258 attack percentage.  Crawford helped the Mariners to shut down two conference opponents Mitchell and Southern Vermont each 3-0, in a 3-1 weekly record. For 15 sets, she notched 38 kills (2.53 per set), six aces (0.40 per set), 22 digs (1.47 per set) and 12 blocks (0.80 per set).
