Daniel Webster Sweeps Women's Volleyball Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Daniel Webster junior middle blocker Kristina Rieger (Concord, N.H.) swung her way to a .329 attack percentage for the week. Rieger played in three matches in all 12 sets winning two of their three contests this week including a 3-1 victory over NECC rival Becker. The Eagles also defeated Lyndon State 3-0 and fell in a tough battle 3-2 against conference opponent Lesley. She averaged 3.00 kills, 1.16 aces, 1.25 digs and 1.00 blocks per set. Rieger tallied 36 kills, 14 service aces, 15 digs, 12 blocks of which seven were block solos for the week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Daniel Webster freshman outside hitter Amanda Wilson (Merrimack, N.H.) was honored for the second time this season as NECC Rookie of the Week. She launched a .287 attack percentage in a 2-1 week for the Eagles. Wilson had 32 kills, three aces, 22 digs averaging 2.13 kills per set and 1.46 digs per set.
