Eagles Continue to Fly High with Volleyball Honors

 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Daniel Webster junior middle blocker Kristina Rieger (Concord, N.H.) swung her way to a amazing  .516 attack percentage for the week. Rieger played in four matches in all 14 sets going 3-1on the week. The Eagles defeated two conference rivals Newbury and Elms both 3-0 and Pine Manor 3-2 only falling 3-0 to Wentworth. Rieger tallied 14 kills, 23 digs, 12 blocks, and five service aces. She averaged 2.71 kill per set and 1.64 digs per set.

 


ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
- Daniel Webster freshman outside hitter Amanda Wilson (Merrimack, N.H.) was honored for the third time this season as NECC Rookie of the Week.  She launched a .178 attack percentage in a 3-1 week for the Eagles. Wilson had 30 kills, 11 aces, 11 digs averaging 2.14 kills per set and 0.78 digs per set.
