Nunez and Harkless Take NECC Weekly Volleyball Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK- Elms College senior outside hitter Jeannette Nunez (Canovanas, Puerto Rico) earned the Blazers their first volleyball Player-of-the-Week honors with a 1-2 weekly record. Nunez also led her team to their first victory on the year. Elms defeated NECC opponent Becker 3-0 (25-20, 25-24, 25-15). Nunez tallied 35 kills, ten service aces, 28 digs and a .221 attack percentage for the week.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK- Bay Path College freshman right side hitter Nadine Harkless (Westfield, Mass.) helped her team to 3-2 victory against Ana Maria. Harkless had 20 kills, 11 digs and four service aces for the Wildcats 1-1 weekly record.
