NECC 2011 Women's Soccer All-Conference Selections Announced
Lesley sophomore forward Veronica Halen wsa selected as the 2011 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Soccer Player of the Year. Halen tied for the league lead with 11 goals in conference play season to go along with five assists for the first-place Lynx, leading the team to an 8-0 finish in NECC play.

Lady Barons Soccer Off to an Explosive Start
STEUBENVILLE—With five minutes remaining in the first half of their 2011 season opener, the Franciscan University of Steubenville Lady Baron soccer team scored its first goal by way of a penalty kick off the foot of Ashley Ruttencutter. This sparked an eight-goal outburst from the Lady Barons as they earned a shutout victory over non-conference opponent Chatham University, 8-0.

Lesley, Mitchell Top NECC Women's Soccer Coaches Poll
Lesley College and Mitchell College placed one-two atop the NECC women's soccer coaches poll in a vote conducted by the league's coaches. Lesley earned 96 points and received seven first place votes while Mitchell placed second with 90 points and three first place votes.
