Killion and Woodford Grab Women's Soccer Player and Rookie of the Week Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK — For the third straight week, Elms College junior forward Jennifer Killion (Cambridge, Mass.) earned NECC Player of the Week honors. She led the Blazers to another 2-0 week against NECC opponent Wheelock 6-0 and Daniel Webster 4-2. Killion scored two goals in each of the contests. She finished the week with nine points.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK — Mitchell College freshman goalkeeper Kaylee Woodford (Niantic, Conn.) did not allow a goal last week leading the Mariners to two conference shut-outs. The Mariners defeated Bay Path 6-0 and Becker 1-0. Woodford recorded six saves on 11 shots.
