Jodi Fralick and Caroline Plunkett Take Final Women's Soccer Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK -Lesley University senior forward Jodi Fralick (Woburn, Mass.) led the Lynx to an undefeated season earning them the #1 seed in the NECC tournament. Fralick propelled her team to a 3-0 conference shut-out week including notching her 29th goal of the season marking her most significant milestone reaching her 100th collegiate goal at Lesley. She became the 15th player in NCAA Division III women's soccer history to accomplish this feat in her final regular season match in a 3-0 sweep of Bay Path. The Lynx also defeated Wheelock 5-0 and Newbury 4-0. Fralick finished the week with seven goals including two hat-tricks.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Becker College freshman forward Caroline Plunkett (Rockaway, N.Y.) topped the Hawks helping them to a 2-0 conference week. Plunkett tallied six goals for 12 points in a 3-1 win over Bay Path and in a7-0 sweep of Newbury including an amazing four goals against the Nighthawks.
