Mercurio was named tournament MVP as she led Lesley to the NECC softball title hitting .750 with nine RBI and four runs scored. The sophomore homered in each of the three NECC tournament victories racking up a 2.000 slugging percentage. In Lesley's 11-3 championship win over Daniel Webster on Saturday, Mercurio went 3-for-3, lining a two-out, three-run first-inning home run to left that set the tone for another title and landed the left fielder on her second All-Tournament Team in as many seasons.
