Hoffman and Casiglio Awarded NECC Weekly Men's Cross Country Honors

RUNNER OF THE WEEK –Mitchell College senior John Hoffman (Bala Cynwyd, Pa.) finished as runner-up for the second consecutive year with a time of 28:05. Mitchell finished as runner-up in the 2010 NECC Men’s Cross Country Championship 8K with 47 points.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK –Lesley University freshman Kyle Casiglio (Shelton, Conn.) crossed the finish line first with a time of 27:00, more than a minute ahead of his closest competitor. He was named both NECC Runner and Rookie of the Year. The Lynx also repeated as team champions in the men's 8-kilometer race with a total of 20 points.
