Cusick and Nunez Earn NECC Weekly Awards

RUNNER OF THE WEEK - Lesley University senior Fran Cusick (Lexington, Mass.) placed 7^th in the Emmanuel Saints Invitational. Cusick crossed through the chute with a time of 26:43.17. The Lynx were 10^th with a 273  team score as the first NECC harrier.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Newbury College freshman Gabriel Nunez (Jersey City, N.J.) finished 30^th in the Emmanuel Saints Invitational. He clocked a 28:01 for the 8k course running his personal best time. He helped the Nighthawks to a 15^th place finish with a 416 team score as the 2^nd NECC runner to cross the line.
