RUNNER OF THE WEEK - For the fourth straight week, Lesley University senior Fran Cusick (Lexington, Mass.) was awarded the NECC Runner of the Week honors.  Cusick crossed the line 2^nd out of 52 harriers with an 8K time of 27:12 . The Lynx placed 3^rd  out of 7 teams with a 68 score.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Newbury College freshman Gabriel Nunez (Jersey City, N.J.) was awarded the NECC rookie honors for the third time. He clocked a 29:29 time over an 8K course finishing 5^th at the Blazer Invitational. Newbury placed fifth with a 126 team score.
