Siller and Olson Named NECC Men's Cross Country Player and Rookie of the Week

RUNNER OF THE WEEK- For the second consecutive week, Newbury College senior Herrel Siller (Palo Alto, Cal.), two-time NECC Runner-of-the-Week, was honored after a first place finish at the Daniel Webster Eagle Invitational. Siller grabbed the gold with a 8k time of 27:41.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK- For the second consecutive week, Daniel Webster College freshman Brad Olson (Beverly, Mass.) garners NECC rookie honors. He clocked a 30:29 time over an 8K to help his team place to a top finish out of sixth teams (37 points). Olson finished 7th out of 34 harriers in a tough 8,000 meter event. He notched a career and season best time.
