Shannon and Cameron Earn Volleyball Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK -Daniel Webster College sophomore outside hitter Chris Shannon (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) helped the Eagles take a split on the week defeating Elms 3-1 and falling to Lassel 3-0. Shannon had 33 kills, 13 digs, two blocks, two assists and one service ace. He tallied a .333 attack percentage with only ten errors on the week.  For the seven sets, Shannon managed 4.7 kills per set, 1.9 digs per set, 0.4 aces per set and 0.3 blocks per set.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK -Elms College freshman outside hitter Stephen Cameron (Newington, Conn.) tallied a .357 attack percentage for the week. For their three sets, Cameron had 12 kills, 1 assist, five digs and one block assist.
