Garcia and Leland Garner NECC Player and Rookie of the Week Awards

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Daniel Webster College senior forward Andre Garcia (Springfield, Mass.) was a key factor in a 1-0 overtime win over NECC's Mitchell. Garcia had the game winning strike 20 seconds into overtime action to keep the Eagles undefeated in conference play. Mitchell went 2-0 on the week also taking down Wheelock 5-0 earlier.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK- Elms College freshman forward Tavish Leland (Bridgton, Maine) played the major role in the 3-2 overtime win over NECC opponent Southern Vermont. Leland knotted the game 2-2 for the Blazers to send the game into overtime play. The Blazers went 1-1 on the week also taking a tough 4-1 loss to MIT.
