Young and Simard Earn NECC Weekly Golf Honors

GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Babson College junior Joe Young (Westwood, Mass) led the Beavers to a 10^th place finish at the Williams Invitational at Middlebury out of 18 teams. Young shot a two day 152, 76 the first 18 holes and 76 the final 18 holes for a 14^th place finish out of 93 duffers.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Elms College freshman Kyle Simard (Thorndike, Mass.) carded a 75 for the MCLA Quad match this past weekend to tie for second place. Simard helped the Blazers take home the runners-up title for a team score of 316.
