PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Lesley University junior center Jesus Trejo (Methuen, Mass.) launched a major push for the Lynx taking them from 7^th place in the NECC to 3^rd place following a 2-0 week. Trejo put up stellar double doubles in both victories averaging 15.0 points and 16.5 rebounds. For the week, Trejo went 66% (10-for-15) from the field and 63% (10-for-16) from the free-throw line.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Once again, Newbury College freshman guard Timothy Young (Brockton, Mass.) was named NECC Rookie of the Week.  Young averaged 12.6 points per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game and 0.6 steals per game. He shot 36% (15-for-42) from the floor, 30% (6-for-20) from behind the arc and 100% (2-for-2) from charity stripe.
