Spratling and Speed Score Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Southern Vermont College junior guard Lance Spratling (Pittsfield, Mass.) shot the lights out with 34 points in a tough 83-79 conference loss to Becker. Spratling also added eight rebounds, five assists and one steal for the game. For the week, Spratling went 63% (12-for-19) from the field and 83% (10-for-12) from the free-throw line.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Daniel Webster College freshman guard Keith Speed (Columbus, Ohio) picked up a game high 21 points in a tough 64-61 overtime loss to Lesley in NECC action. For the week, Speed averaged 14.0 points per game, 1.5 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game and 1.0 steal per game. Speed shot 44% (11-for-25) from the floor, 36% (4-for-11) from behind the arc and 67% (2-for-3) from charity stripe.
