Favors and Cenicola Grab Men's Hoops Weekly Awards

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Becker College sophomore forward Terrance Favors (Boston, Mass.) led the Hawks to an undefeated first round of conference play going 2-0 this week.  Favors pushed his team to defeat Lesley 83-61 and Southern Vermont 87-72. He averaged 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.5 blocks. For the week, Robbins shot 60% (15-for-25) from the field, 33% (1-for-3) from the three-point line and 69% (9-for-13) from the free-throw line.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Once again, Southern Vermont freshman guard Derrick Cenicola (Hamilton, N.Y.) grabs conference rookie honors. Cenicola averaged 16.0 points per game, 9.0 rebounds per game, 1.0 assist per game and 3.0 steals per game. He shot 27% (5-for-18) from the floor, 22% (2-for-9) from behind the arc and 100% (4-for-4) from the charity stripe.
