LEICESTER, Mass.- Along with carrying the field hockey team to their second straight New England Collegiate Conference Championship and winning NECC Player of the Year Honors, Sophomore Victoria Sirchia (Goshen, Conn) was selected by Fieldhockey.com on their weekly honorable mention team.

Sirchia started her week by tallying a goal and an assist in the NECC semi-finals against Elms College. She capped off her week by guiding the Hawks to a come from behind victory in the NECC Championship. Sirchia scored the game winning goal 3:02 into overtime. Sirchia finished the 2009 campaign with 14 goals and 4 assists.
