Sirchia, Bates and Gates Honored as Weekly Field Hockey Winners

PLAYER OF THE WEEK -Becker College freshman midfielder Victoria Sirchia (Goshen, Conn.) was a factor in all three of the Hawks' matches last week.  Sirchia netted one goal in Becker's 4-1 loss to St. Joseph's (Maine), added the game-winning goal and one assist in a 2-1 victory over Daniel Webster, and closed off the week with one goal in a 2-1 win over Elms.  Sirchia's big week allowed the Hawks to close out the regular season with a perfect 8-0 NECC record.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK -  Daniel Webster College freshman midfielder Natalie Bates (Kingstown, R.I.) found the back of the net in the Eagles' contests against Wheelock and Becker last week.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK -  Bay Path College junior forward Sarah Gates (Crown Point, Ind.) tallied the Wildcats' lone goal of the week in a tough 4-1 setback at Wheelock.
