Leicester, Mass.- For the second time in three years the Becker College baseball team has earned a spot in the ECAC New England Baseball tournament. This marks the first time the two teams will meet for a baseball game.

The Hawks have earned the eighth seed in the tournament and will travel to top seeded Endicott College (30-14) on Wednesday afternoon. Endicott was eliminated by Western New England College in The Commonwealth Coast Conference tournament this past weekend.

Becker (22-11) heads into the ECAC tournament after an early exit from the New England Collegiate Conference tournament. Becker lost in the opening round to Daniel Webster College 9-7. The Hawks then had their NCAA tournament hopes crushed when they lost to Mitchell College 15-11 on Saturday morning.

In 2009 Becker made their first ECAC tournament appearance with an impressive 8-2 win over Castleton State in the first round. The Hawks season came to an end with an ECAC semifinal loss to eventual NCAA tournament contender WPI.
