Perillo, Shaw and Marstaller Earn Final Baseball Weekly Awards

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Mitchell College junior infielder Jeff Perillo (Newington, Conn.) led the Mariners to a 3-1 week. Perillo batted .500 (7-for-14), slugged.643 and had a .533 on-base percentage while finishing with a .917 fielding percentage.  He notched three runs and one RBI. Perillo had two multiple hit games including going 4-for-5 against Becker.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Daniel Webster College freshman Noah Shaw (Lebanon, Conn.) pitched a 4-0 shut-out of NECC opponent Elms. He hurled a seven inning four-hit victory. Shaw fanned three batters, while walking four Blazers. Shaw notched a 0.00 ERA for the week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Daniel Webster freshman outfielder Darrik Marstaller (Spofford, N.H.) batted .353 (6-for-17) hitting safely in all four contests. The Eagles went 3-1 on the week sweeping Elms in a three-game series. Marstaller had a .647 slugging percentage and a .353 on-base percentage. He added six RBI, one triple and one homerun. Marstaller notched eleven put-outs with a 1.000 fielding percentage.
