NECC Honors First Weekly Male Runners of the Week

RUNNER OF THE WEEK - Newbury College senior Herrel Siller (Palo Alto, Cal.) placed second  out of 79 runners in the Travis Fuller Invitational 8K hosted by Mass. Maritime Academy. His runner-up time of 26:12 was an 8,000 meter personal best for Siller. Newbury finished 8th with a team score of 186 for the meet.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Daniel Webster College freshman Brad Olson (Beverly, Mass.) clocked a 31:54 time over an 8K to help his team place fourth of sixth teams (97 points). Olson finished 28th out of 67 runners in a tough 8,000 meter event hosted by University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
