Johnson's 33 Not Enough Against Daniel Webster
BENNINGTON, Vt.- Taeshon Johnson scored 33 points but it proved to fall short as the Southern Vermont College Men?s basketball team lost 85-67 to Daniel Webster at the Mountaineer Athletic Center on Tuesday.

Return Home Ends In Loss to Elms
BENNINGTON, Vt.- After two straight road games last week the Southern Vermont College Women?s basketball team returned home in hope of a victory. The Mountaineers faced up against New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) foe Elms College at the Mountaineer Athletic Center but ended up on the wrong end of a 76-47 defeat.

Rivals to Teammates
BENNINGTON, Vt.- It is not very often that two rivals end up becoming best friends. For the lives of Cody LaBadia (Schohaire, NY) and Jarod Hayen (Duanesburg, NY) that is exactly what has happened to the two Southern Vermont College baseball freshman. Hayen and LaBadia grew up in neighboring towns and went to rival high schools in the capital district area of New York.

Men's Volleyball Cruises to NECC victory
BENNINGTON, Vt.- After a tough weekend where the Southern Vermont College Men?s Volleyball team played against three of the top ten teams in the country, they returned home Tuesday evening for a New England Collegiate Conference match-up against Regis College. The Mountaineers used a strong offense to power past the Pride 3-0 at the Mountaineer Athletic Center.

Mountaineers Can’t Overcome Slow Start against Eagles
BENNINGTON, VT ? The Daniel Webster College Eagles built a 16 point halftime lead and were able to hold on in the second half and defeat the Southern Vermont College Mountaineers 79-65 on Tuesday Evening.
