Southern Vermont Sweeps Men's Soccer Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Southern Vermont College sophomore forward Nick Haggerty (Wynantskill, N.Y.) was a key factor in both wins during a 2-0 week. Haggerty scored one goal and tallied one assist in a 3-1 win over Johnson State. The Mountaineers came back to defeat NECC opponent Becker 3-2 in double overtime play. Haggerty assisted on all three goals for the match. For the week, he tallied six points.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK- Fellow Southern Vermont College freshman forward Adrien Alexis (Maplewood, N.J.) played the major role in the 3-2 double overtime victory over NECC rival Becker netting the game winner with just six seconds left in the game. Alexis also notched a goal in a 3-1 win against Johnson State. For the two games, he had three goals for six points.
