Elms SAAC to Sponsor Food Drive

CHICOPEE, Mass. - As part of an effort by Elms College's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the athletic department is sponsoring a food drive for the month of October.

With each donation of a non-perishable food item at the Maguire Center front desk, you will be entered into a raffle drawing for a free one-month membership to the Maguire fitness center.

Joining in on the campus-wide effort will be the Elms College Admission department. To receive an application fee waiver, any student attending either of the October open house events only need to bring in five non-perishable food items. The open house dates are Sunday, October 4 and Saturday, October 31.

Fans attending any home events during the month of October are encouraged to donate.
Collection boxes are set up throughout the athletic department and at the Maguire Center lobby front desk.

All goods collected will directly benefit the greater Springfield and Chicopee food pantries.
