Malloy Named First-Ever Commissioner of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC)

The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced the hiring of Del Malloy as its first-ever commissioner on Monday, April 14. Malloy, who has served as Director of Athletics at Salve Regina University since August of 1997, brings more than 20 years of collegiate athletic administrative experience to his new role as NECC Commissioner.

The Newbury College Nighthawks men’s volleyball team has won the 2008 ECAC North Championship Finals today on their home court. This is the Nighthawks fourth successive appearance in the finals of the ECAC’s, and second straight Championship victory, having won their first Championship in the 2007 season.
